2026 March NDIA Robotics Division Meeting
NDIA’s Robotics Division is leaning forward to support accelerating the Department of War’s efforts to transform acquisitions pathways. U.S. Army Group 4+ S/VTOL Summit
1. Invitation and Strategic Vision
The Army's Capability Portfolio Executive (CPE) Aviation, in collaboration with the Product Manager for Endurance Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (EUAS), invites industry partners to the upcoming Group 4+ Short/Vertical Takeoff and Landing (S/VTOL) Summit. As the Army accelerates its transformation to address evolving battlefield dynamics, this pivotal event will take place from 10-12 March 2026 at the Stovehouse, 3414 Governors Dr SW, Huntsville, AL 35805.
This Summit introduces the Group 4+ S/VTOL, a transformative effort to modernize the Army's Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) capabilities in support of Multi-Domain Operations. The initiative is designed to foster early and deliberate collaboration with dedicated industry partners to shape future acquisition, development, and procurement strategies. The goal is to field modular, runway-independent weapon systems that reduce logistics footprints, enhance operational flexibility, and provide a decisive advantage to the warfighter.
2. Summit Objectives
The primary objectives of the Summit are to:
Solicit Industry Participation: Gauge interest in the Group 4+ S/VTOL UAS and gather information on vendor capabilities across various UAS technology domains.
Expand Collaboration: Engage with a diverse set of traditional and non-traditional industry partners to explore innovative solutions.
Inform Acquisition Strategy: Ensure transparency by informing industry on future acquisition strategies, requirements development, and potential solicitations.

INTRODUCTION
The United States (U.S.) Army Contracting Command-New Jersey (ACC-NJ), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, on behalf of U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Armaments Center (AC), located at Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey, is issuing this Sources Sought Notice (SSN) as a means of conducting Market Research to identify potential sources having an interest in supporting the development of kinetic Counter-Unmanned Aerial System (C-UAS) systems. The results of this Market Research will contribute to determining the scope of further development and potential development partners. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding submissions.
PURPOSE
The rapid evolution and increasing proliferation of UAS technology necessitate a comprehensive understanding of available kinetic Counter-UAS (C-UAS) solutions. This Sources Sought Notice and accompanying Industry Day are designed to identify, understand, and evaluate all kinetic C-UAS approaches currently offered by industry. Our goal is to gain a complete picture of the current kinetic C-UAS landscape to inform future development efforts.
INDUSTRY DAY
DEVCOM AC is hosting an in-person one-day Industry Day event on 28 April 2026 to discuss current C-UAS concepts and technologies. Key Government stakeholders involved in C-UAS capability development will be in attendance.
The morning session will feature presentations from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) outlining key aspects of the C-UAS mission, including user needs, design considerations, mission constraints, and relevant safety considerations.
The afternoon will be dedicated to a panel discussion with Government SMEs, providing industry partners with an opportunity to ask questions regarding the current approach to C-UAS concepts.
Please note that no competition-sensitive or vendor proprietary information will be released. General questions from industry clarifying points from the Government’s presentation may be shared with all participants. All company information received will be treated confidentially. The Government will not entertain contractor non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).

NDIA December Robotics Division Meeting
The Robotics Division will have an in-person meeting at NDIA Headquarters on December 3, 2025.
NDIA’s Robotics Division is leaning forward to support accelerating the Department of War’s efforts to transform acquisitions pathways. For innovators, startups, and small businesses. often the producers of the latest hot capabilities and the best technologies, discerning “what right looks like” is not easy. The Robotics quarterly meeting this December will focus our attention on asking how government and industry can best work together to “chart a faster path” to get the right robotic and autonomous tech into the hands of the warfighter. Current events demand an aggressive approach. Come help us answer what you think matters most to enabling the American way of war, what might we be missing, and what needs to happen next.

2025 AAAA Cribbins Futures Forum
The newly formatted AAAA Cribbins Futures Forum will be held November 17–20, at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, AL. It is the first gathering of the entire Army Aviation Community since the "Continuous Transformation" initiative. The entire Army Aviation Branch leadership (General Officer Steering Committee (AVGOSC) will brief. Afternoon “open mic” sessions will provide a forum for discussions with attendees and subject matter experts paired to AVGOSC morning briefings, with feedback from each session being briefed to the AVGOSC in an open forum on the final morning.
2025 Tennessee Drone and Advanced Air Mobility Symposium
Hosted by Vanderbilt University, the Tennessee Drone and Advanced Air Mobility Symposium brings together leaders from government, industry, academia, and research to explore how drones and advanced air mobility can be safely and meaningfully integrated into Tennessee’s communities, infrastructure, and economy.
