2026 AUVSI Defense
Nov

to Nov 10

2026 AUVSI Defense

America is investing like never before in uncrewed systems—and the stakes have never been higher.

Securing the Edge. Scaling Autonomy.

Robotics and autonomous systems are no longer emerging capabilities. They are shaping outcomes on today’s battlefield and redefining how the United States prepares for what comes next.

From Ukraine to Israel to Operation Epic Fury, uncrewed and autonomous systems have moved beyond demonstration into decisive use. They are influencing tactics, compressing timelines, and forcing rapid adaptation across defense strategy, procurement, and deployment.

The U.S. response is equally urgent. The FY27 budget directs more than $70 billion toward drone dominance and counter-UAS capabilities, tripling prior investment, and is anchored by the newly established Defense Autonomous Warfare Group (DAWG). This is not a theoretical construct. It is a live operational force focused on testing, integrating, and fielding trusted autonomy across every domain at speed and at scale.

For those who joined us previously, the shift is unmistakable. What was once framed as potential is now defined by execution. Requirements are clearer. Timelines are shorter. The barrier is no longer just innovation, it is alignment with mission needs, trusted systems, and the ability to deliver at scale.

For those joining for the first time, understand this: the demand signal is not coming. It is here—driven by funding, reinforced by policy, and validated in real-world operations.

AUVSI Defense 2026 is built for this moment, shaping the conversations where demand signal becomes strategy, and strategy becomes capture.

The forum takes place under the Chatham House Rule, closed to media, and limited to citizens of the United States and allied or partner nations.

2026 SAE Counter UAS Technology USA

SAE Media Group is delighted to announce the 6th annual Counter UAS Technology USA Conference, taking place in Washington, D.C. on December 1-3, 2026.

Building from the sell-out 2025 edition, Counter UAS Technology USA 2026 will return in a bigger platform than ever before, to bring together key military and government C-UAS program managers, policy makers, research and development experts, along with industry partners, to forge valuable discussions on how to strengthen US protection against the threat of UAS.

With the recent establishment of JATF 401, it is clear that strengthening C-UAS capabilities is essential to safeguard personnel, assets, and critical infrastructure. JATF 401 represents a decisive step in addressing the growing threat posed by illegal and hostile drones, ensuring the DoW and Military forces remain equipped to detect, deter, and neutralize these emerging threats.

Counter UAS Technology USA 2026 provides the ideal platform to tackle this critical issue, fostering focused discussions on C-sUAS priorities, challenges, and solutions while enabling collaboration and networking to strengthen strategies against the growing sUAS threat facing the US military, government, and allies.
